Ainslie/Morgan – Highway to the Wind LP
Thank you for looking at my item.
Here on offer is the mega rare Australian acid/folk album by Tasmanian (the large island situated south of Australia’s mainland) duo Ian Ainslie and Bruce Morgan. This rarity was recorded on the Tasmanian label Basket BBS003 way back in 1975.
In the acid/folk style not unlike the fantastic album by Madden and Harris Fool’s Paradise this talented duo weaves a creative tapestry of acid/folk songs. Both play guitars and Bruce Morgan plays harmonica. Australian collectors would be well aware of how uncommon this album is as the Basket label was an independent Tasmanian recording label.

CONDITION
Vinyl – The vinyl has some small insignificant marks that result in occasional crackle or pop. On side 2, track 1 you will hear some light clicks in the background. Side 1 plays close to VG. Side 2 Good plus plus due mainly to the clicks on track 1.
Cover – This awesome looking cover has some creases in the corners, a top spine split of 6cm and bottom seam split of 1cm. Some ring wear on the back cover. Good plus plus.
This is a genuine rare Australian acid/folk recording. Great to acquire in any condition and this one is definitely better than just a gap filler.
