Entertaining the idea of letting this go…
This is the holy grail of all Against Me! records..the corner stone of any Against Me! Fans collection. The rare self titled 12” ep from Crasshole records back in 2000. This is the true first press limited to only 145 copies..this is part of the 95 copies that opens from the top and comes with both booklet and poster (both in great condition). 50 copies were held back for the record release show with a red stamp on the jacket (not this one). The jacket is hand screen printed, so there’s some slight wear to the printing which is normal, it’s in amazing condition for its age, practically brand new as it was back then.. The record itself is also in nice shape for its age, I’ve only played it once myself and kept it stored away.
This is truly a rare find. A first press complete and in this shape…impossible to come by. What makes this record so rare is that Laura Jane Grace hated the mix and distortion on the record and therefore only released 50 copies to the public..holding the rest back. The total pressing number was 500..145 of which originally had sleeves. There is what they call a 2nd press, which was the remaining 355 vinyl copies with new printed up sleeves that don’t open from the top (not this copy).
I’m not really psyched to let this go..but…I’m entertaining the idea since I just keep it stored away..maybe someone else can appreciate it.
This is your chance. Likely to never see another again anytime soon this complete and in this shape. This is a true Against Me! artifact.
