AFRICAN MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA! 6 SUPERB ALBUMS 1980-1990 ZANI DIBATE ETC RARE EX-VG.
My sales at the moment are albums from my collection that I’m thinning out.
These six are from my extensive African Music collection. I’ve had them since the late 80s / early 90s and the six that I’ve chosen are great examples of the best of African music of the time:
1. Kanda Bongo Man - Amour fou / crazy love Hannibal Records 1985 - superb Zairean Soukous Ex- VG+
2. Remi Ongala and Orchestre Super Matimila - Nalilia Mwana Womad 1988 - great Tanzanian jangly guitar / dance soundsEx- VG+
3. Zani Diabate & the Super Djata Band Mango 1988 - superb Malian guitar dance music Ex- VG+
4. Salif Keita presents Sanougue Kouyate Mango 1990 - stunning Malian music from the maestro Salif Keita and his then protege Sanougue Kouyate, soaring vocals fab Kora.
5. Kouyate & Kouyate- 1990 Melodie (French pressing)- superbly rhythmic Guinean album from multi-talented Kouyate family. Beautiful African dance music. Ex- VG+
6. Le Simandou de Beyla ‘La Confiance’ 1980 Syliphone
Again superbly complex Guinean rhythms - rare African pressing Ex- Vg+.
This is an excellent chance to get six rare African albums for a great price! Don’t miss out!
