Description

AFRICAN MELODY - Various Artists (PAMA PMP-2004, 1971)

A very rare and sought-after album on the Pama label featuring a selection of instrumental and vocal tracks including 'Blessed are the Meek (AKA 'The Beatitudes') by the great Slim Smith.

In very good condition, some fine surface marks but plays through without any jumps or skips; just some slight surface noise. Vinyl is nice and shiny. The cover is slightly creased in places.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

I’m not a dealer - I’ve collected Jamaican records since the 1960s and I’m now selling all my Ska/Rock Steady/Reggae/Dub vinyl, including more real rarities…watch this space!

Testing: all my records have been played (and some of the rarest converted to digital) on an ION USB turntable. This is the only turntable I have and therefore my only way of testing vinyl. Any that stick or jump will not be sold on eBay.

Grading: I’m not familiar with the dealers’ vinyl grading system, but I will do my best to give an honest description of the condition, appearance and sound quality of my vinyl.

Any problems at all will be sorted out – I have 100% positive feedback and always do my best to keep the customer satisfied.

Thanks for looking – and please keep an eye on my listings for more rare tunes!
