AEROSMITH... 40 years after its original release on Columbia in January of 1973, Aerosmith's classic double platinum eponymous debut album has been newly remastered from the original source tapes and is pressed on 180g audiophile vinyl housed in an individually numbered jacket. Top Ten single and album centerpiece "Dream On" finds the band melding their explicit Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin influences in promising fashion, an early blueprint for the sound that would propel Aerosmith to '70s dominance. Individually numbered: RSD... GET YOUR WINGS... Originally released on Columbia in 1974 as the follow-up to the band's promising self-titled debut, Get Your Wings is Aerosmith's first with producer Jack Douglas who would be behind the boards for the majority of the band's legendary '70s run. Newly remastered from the original source tapes and pressed on 180g audiophile vinyl, the 8-song set finds the band shedding their influences and establishing their signature sleazy-blues sound as heard on album standouts "Same Old Song and Dance" and their cover of "The Train Kept a Rollin'." Individuallly numbered: RSD... ROCKS... Aerosmith was on a serious roll when they issued Rocks in 1976, a raw and rocking 9-song set that proved to be as equally compelling and essential as their 1975 masterpiece Toys In The Attic. With producer Jack Douglas once again in tow, Aerosmith churned out more monster riff-heavy cuts and catalog favorites like "Back in the Saddle" and "Last Child," coming into their own as songwriters and overshooting their influences once and for all in the process. #176 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Individually numbered: RSD... DRAW THE LINE... Originally issued in 1977 as the follow-up to their classic 1976 album Rocks, Aerosmith's fifth full-length release Draw the Line was once again co-produced with longtime brother–in–arms Jack Douglas and directly responded to then-emerging punk with a full-on straight-ahead hard rock assault highlighted by monster cuts like "Draw The Line," "I Wanna Know Why," "Get It Up," and "Kings and Queens." Graced with the original iconic cover art of American caricaturist Art Hirschfeld. Individually numbered: RSD... NIGHT IN THE RUTS... Produced by Gary Lyons, 1979's Night In The Ruts is Aerosmith's sixth full-length and follow-up to 1977's Draw The Line. Although Joe Perry left the band midway through the making of the album, he was present for the writing and recording of its strongest tracks including "No Surprize," which recounts the band's early history, the driving "Chiquita," the jamming "Three Mile Smile," and the furious "Bone to Bone." The 9-song set also features a pair of throwback covers with takes on the Yardbirds' "Think About It" and the novelty number "Reefer Head Woman." Individually numbered: RSD... TOYS IN THE ATTIC... If Aerosmith's second album Get Your Wings saw the band establishing their signature brand of sleazy-blues rock, 1975's 8x platinum Toys In The Attic saw the band literally perfecting it. The combination of Joe Perry's big-league riffs and Steven Tyler's hypersexed lyrics make for a rip-roaring ride and the embodiment of '70s rock 'n' roll excess. Beloved anthems like "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion," infinitely reaffirm Toys In The Attic's legendary stature in the pantheon of rock, an album which Rolling Stone rates #229 of the '500 Greatest Albums of All Time.' Newly remastered from the original source tapes and pressed on 180g audiophile vinyl. Individually numbered.
