THE ADVANCEMENT

The Advancement (Philips PHS 600-326) 1969

 

Here's a lovely copy of this brilliant psychedelic jazz LP, featuring fuzz guitar, Fender bass, vibes, organ, congas and more. The Advancement were Gabor Szabo's backing band for a time, and this is their sole recording. 'Moorish Mode' has an utterly amazing drum and conga break in it.

 

SLEEVE

The fragile, unlaminated card sleeve is in VG+ condition, with centre splits top and bottom and a small cut-out hole lower left. There is no ringwear or writing, and the spine is 100% complete and legible.

 

VINYL

The glossy disc is in lovely EX to NM shape. It looks barely played, and sounds awesome. You would do well to find a better copy.
