Description
AC/DC Rare; Soul Strippers, Live 74 Translucent Yellow Vinyl + AC/DC Book.
This LP features 5 tracks recorded Live on New Years Eve 1974 @ The Festival Hall, Melbourne plus 2 tracks with Live vocals from Australian TV appearances 1975 + uncredited hidden demo track, recorded early 1976 in Germany.
Released on XeRocks records in 2015 and pressed on Translucent Yellow vinyl.
This 40th Anniversary Edition also includes an abridged copy of The AC/DC Song Book, 20 pages and professionally printed.
The AC/DC Song Book was originally available with the release of the first Australian DDDDC LP, as part of a postal merchandise offer.
The hidden demo is called “ I’m a Rebel” and it was written and sung by Alex Young ( older brother of Mal’ & Angus) and recorded with the band during a rehearsal whilst on tour in Germany 1976. This track was later officially released in 1980 by Accept, who have validated that it was originally recorded by AC/DC but the band didn’t want to use it; so at a later date it was offered to Accept to record and release.
You Tube has quite a bit of stuff on this demo too; including an interview with Accept’s singer Udo Dirkschneider.
I can’t say if this is the genuine demo, but it’s on the LP and so is of interest.
The condition of Vinyl is NM
Cvr is EX+, there is one tiny nick on the spine. Please see photos.
Book is also NM.

I wish to make it clear that this is not an original 1975 copy of the AC/DC Song Book.
It is as stated on the books back page an abridged reproduction which was issued with a limited number of the Soul Strippers LP and this is one of those. Please see photo of the books back page.
