********************************* A more than reasonable 1st pressing of this long out of print LP from AC/DC …their 4th album from 1977 with Bon Scott on vocals…..and another blistering rocker.
As is the case with most of their early albums this Aussie issue differs from overseas releases by way of ‘Crapsody In Blue’ included in the place of ‘Problem Child’ ( which is found on the earlier Aussie release of the ‘Dirty Deeds’ album). From what I can best determine ‘Crapsody In Blue’ was never included on any issues outside of Australia.
A timeless hell-raising classic for fans …in top condition too!
The presence of Angus Young's mighty Gibson SG looms over the album like a sheet of lead on a windless day. The inclusion of longer songs like "Go Down," "Dog Eat Dog," and the floor rattling "Let There be Rock" all feature ripping interplay between Bon Scott's perverse howl and Young's straight for the throat guitar lines. Where others hint at hormone-driven themes of lust and adolescent rebellion, AC/DC revel in them with abandon in "Bad Boy Boogie" and "Crapsody In Blue". Plenty of other highlights here as well such as "Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be," a mighty fist-waver whose references to warmer climates are something that only the most uptight will take seriously and the near classic "Whole Lotta Rosie" which would become one of the band's live staples and a crowd favourite.

CONDITION – see 4 photos above :
Vinyl - play-tested completely both sides : VG+. A number of light scuff marks each side which I attribute to poor handling somewhere along the line. It acyually plays heaps better than it looks too which lends support to these being surface marks and not stylus scratches. Both sides still retain plenty of shine and the sound is terrific with no pops or skips.
Labels : Clean except for a previous owners name in light blue pen on Side 2 only. It is barely noticeable however should be mentioned all the same.
Gate-fold Sleeve : excellent. No writing or splits. No ring-wear. The spine is fully intact and no creasing to be concerned about either. Easily one of the better examples I’ve seen for this album and it presents superbly.
