Up for auction here I have a rare 1st press (blue label, not the later red) Australian copy of Highway To Hell by AC/DC . Released on the EMI Records Australia (Albert Productions) record label, the catalogue number is AP LP 040.
Condition of the sleeve is graded as being VG as it does suffer from creasing,but no rips or tears, and the spine is still readable, while the vinyl is graded at VG+ condition. There are marks but none that significantly affect playback.Certainly no feelable scratches/gouges!
All pictures used are of the actual item you will be bidding on. I never use images from a 3rd party. I like people to see EXACTLY what they are getting. RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM MINT :The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint. EXCELLENT :The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD :The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
