Description
AC/DC, Bon Scott's Last Oui Oui is a rare, live, double LP of the band performing at the Pavilion de Paris, in Paris, France on December 9, 1979. The concert is among Bon Scott's final performances, as he would pass away 2 months later. The track listings are as follows:
Side A Live Wire Shot Down in Flames Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be Sin City
Side B Walk All Over You Bad Boy Boogie
Side C The Jack Highway to Hell Girls Got Rhythm High Voltage
Side D Whole Lotta Rosie Rocker TNT
On the back cover, the songs Shot Down in Flames and Girls Got Rhythm are not listed. On side C The Jack is listed as "Jack" and on side D, Whole Lotta Rosie is listed as "Whole Lotta Roses."
This album is among the first 10 items I've listed for sale/auction on eBay. As I am new to the process, I haven't given it an official grade because I don't want to be wrong or misleading. Instead, I have provided photos and will describe its sound and condition.
RECORDING:
The quality of the audio is excellent, clear and strong. It does have some surface noise, however. The recording's flaws are brief; they include split-second crackles at the end of Walk All Over You and in the middle of Bad Boy Boogie, which also contains a very brief, 1 second, distortion of the sound at another point. There is a quick crackle between the songs Girls Got Rhythm and High Voltage and a skip in Whole Lotta Rosie.
VINYL
The vinyl is still glossy black, with some minor scuff marks and a couple of scratches on sides A & B. The albums come in their original sleeves, even though the one has an opening where the label is and the other does not; that's how they came.
LABELS:
The labels are clean, white and centered with the words "Drivile Records DCP600. Made in the USA" on all 4 sides.
JACKET:
The jacket is in very good condtion, with the artwork still clear and unfaded. Both sides of the cover have some ringwear and the edges and corners have some wear as well. Some small creases on both sides would be the cover's only other flaws.
At the bottom of the back cover, it reads Drivile Records Ltd., 1980 50 Lambs Conduit Street London EC1 (01 298 2113)
I welcome questions and e-mails requesting additional information or photos of this item.
