ITEM DESCRIPTION:
AC/DC TRACKS: Highway To Hell / If You Want Blood LABEL: Albert AP104 STEREO/MONO: Stereo YEAR: 1979 MADE IN Australia CONDITION: RECORD: Very Good ( some light scuffs that do not affect play)( some light surface marks with occasional crackle and pop). SLEEVE: Not applicable (Grading system as per US “Official Price Guide” book) NOTES: allmusic: AC/DC's mammoth power chord roar became one of the most influential hard rock sounds of the '70s. In its own way, it was a reaction against the pompous art rock and lumbering arena rock of the early '70s. AC/DC's rock was minimalist -- no matter how huge and bludgeoning their guitar chords were, there was a clear sense of space and restraint. Combined with Bon Scott's larynx-shredding vocals, the band spawned countless imitators over the next two decades and enjoyed commercial success well into the 2000s.wikipedia:AC/DC are an Australian rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Although the band are commonly classified as hard rock and are considered a pioneer of heavy metal,[1][2] they have always classified their music as rock and roll.[3] To date they are one of the highest grossing bands of all time. Highway to Hell is the opening track of AC/DC's 1979 album Highway to Hell. It was initially released as a single in 1979.The song was written by Bon Scott, Angus Young and Malcolm Young while the main guitar riff was created by Angus Young. The song and album's title supposedly came after a reporter asked band members if they could describe what life was like being constantly on tour. Angus replied that it was "a fucking highway to hell". Rare original Australian pressing on the Albert label.
