This is an AC/DC completists item. A lot of Fans and collectors own the cardboard box set of six LP's called AD/DC 1. Some have a 12" unreleased single and some don't. This is different. This is a black Perspex box with a clear Perspex lid with a paper insert that fits inside the clear lid so it resembles the cardboard box. This box set was released in small numbers in 1989,as CD's were taking over from vinyl LP's. Contents of the box include the six LP's including the horns and fire version of Highway To Hell. Also included is the 1983 play both sides version of the 12" unreleased single "Cold Hearted Man". There is also the insert detailing the contents of the box including the 12" single. As to why the 12" single plus flyer is included …..With the rapid demise of vinyl and the dominance of CD , the record company may have had left over stock of the 12" with no way of selling as a separate item so they included it to get rid of the obsolete stock. Unfortunately the Highway To Hell cover has no record. As this is a reasonably easy to find red label reissue it should not be hard to find a copy and choose the best cover to complete the set. The last time one of these Perspex box sets sold was 2017. Sale prices have varied between $650 and $925 depending on condition. This box set has condition issues and is missing a record. It does however have the bonus "play both sides" 12 " single. The LP's in this box set are graded cover first, record second.
