ABBA The Singles - The First Ten Years (Rare 1982 UK 'Special Limited Edition' 12" Commemorative box set featuring a 23-track set of two exclusive PICTURE DISC LPs, a 24" full colour poster, a 12-page chronology/discography booklet & a replica of a ticket to their Eurovision Song Contest winning performance at the Brighton Dome in 1974, all housed in a superb silver embossed custom stickered textured box! ABBOX2).

This box set has been well looked after. There is limited wear and tear to the cover, with a small dent to the top left hand side of the box, but generally is in very good condition (see pictures). The box has the original "contents include" removeable sticker still attached. The contents are in extremely good condition. The 2 x 12" record picture discs have been carefully stored in plastic covers since 1982.

Info from ABBA The Site website: 1982 was ABBA’s final year together as a group. They had originally intended to record a new studio album, like they had done almost every year since they first came together. But as the four members felt the energy run out of the group, they shelved these plans and instead decided to put out a double album collection of their singles from 1973 to 1982. Two brand new single A-sides were included on the album – ’The Day Before You Came’ and ’Under Attack’ – along with several of ABBA’s biggest hits. The Singles - The First Ten Years is currently unavailable to buy new in shops.

The 23-track double-LP Singles collection contains 16 of ABBA's 20 U.S. chart entries and 22 of their 25 U.K. hits. Especially notable are the group's final new single, "Under Attack," and the terrific ballad "The Day Before You Came," which had previously appeared in the U.S. only as a non-LP B-side. This collection supersedes the previous greatest-hits albums, and since ABBA were a singles band, captures their essence.
