The Neville Brothers were one of the best acts working New Orleans in the '70s, and '80s, and two of the brothers, Aaron and Art, had roots that extended way back before that, cutting records by themselves for a variety of labels.

Art got onto wax first with a few singles for Specialty back in '57-'58, and soon Aaron was on vinyl with Minit Records from 1960-'63. Both cut quite a few killer sides, many of which are prized by northern soul collectors.

THIS is the album built around his hit single “Tell It Like It Is” in 1966, and is perhaps the only album on Par-Lo Records. This certainly is an album that barely ever turns up and this one is very nearly like new.
