Description

AARON COPELAND "Billy The Kid" rare AUDIOPHILE MASTER EDITION TEST PRESSING LP from 1980 (RTI RECORD TECHNOLOGY SWEET THUNDER Edition 4). Test pressings are very rare and collectible. Only a few are made in the pressing plants and even fewer find their way to the collectors’ market. Half Speed Mastered from the original Master Tapes and pressed on Virgin TELDEC vinyl, translucent when held against a light source (similar to MFSL LPs). Great sounding LP by the much praised Sweet Thunder audiophile label. Only a few titles were pressed on this label before going out of business in the early eighties. Much more rare than the more mainstream Audiophile labels (MFSL, Nautilus, Mastersound). Comes in plain white sleeve. Record is Near Mint.
