Description
Classic Andy Warhol Produced Band The Velvet Underground & Nico Verve Blue Label V-5008. Classic Banana Cover ( Peeled.) condition of the cover is good The top part of the spine has some damageThat has caused some splitting on the inside. The interior where the record goes has split at the top for about 6" & on the bottom for about An1" This is the Mono Version of this hard to find cover & record circa 1967. The record plays well there is a light scratch going through side 1 track 1&2 It actually would look great framed & of course This Warhol cover is notoriously tough to find. check out my other auctions For a Unpeeled Banana Stereo Copy of the same album also circa 1967.( See the last picture.) These are the original releases. The band consists of Lou Reed, John Cale Sterling Morrison, Maureen Tucker & Nico. The band was named After the Book of The same Name That surfaced during The 1950's & Explored the world of S&M. See my auctions for a copy of this book in the next couple of days. There will be a lot of pop culture items sold from a massive collection over the next couple of months. This item will be sold with NO RESERVE & a low opening bid I'll let you decide the value !!!!!!
