V.A. A New Hi LP (Dallas 1971 - part I)
Tempo Rds, 1971. Original pressing (no reissues known to exist untill now).
Probably the most perfect condition in which you'll ever be able to score this rare as hell private local comp: M-/M- still in shrink; the lp displays some light paper/sleeve marks only. Sleeve is closed to perfect, still perfectly protected in its original shrink, but displays some very light sign of use on the spine under the shrink. Original poster is in perfect  / like new condition.

To sum up things, and to quote the description that was featured here last summer (last time a copy was offered): "Very rare psych sampler featuring 2 psych tracks each by "The Mint" - reissued on Endless Journey - 2 trax by "CAst of thousands", first apperance by 17 year old Stevie Ray Vaughan. Other bands include "Image", the excellent "Stone Sypher" and "Blues persuasion"

"Stevie Ray Vaughan Related A New Hi Rare LP (Tempo 2, 1971). This unlikely appearing album cover contains some pretty impressive, cutting-edge psychedelic music from 1971 by a variety of regional groups. The real attraction here is the inclusion of a two tracks by the group "Cast Of Thousands" which featured a young guitarist named Steve Vaughan. The tracks that featured the bands the Mint, Image, Stone Sypher, and Blue Persuasion may be just as slick; in fact, the Mint, led by guitarist Jimmy Wallace, was very popular in the Dallas and North Texas area, and Wallace went on to found the Dallas Guitar Show. Of course, the 16-year-old Vaughan would become a guitar legend renowned the world over. The album comes with a poster featuring all the artists and is in VG+. The album itself is EX 7/EX 7."
