“A Fresh Viewpoint And Muriel Winston” by Muriel Winston (Strata-East, SES 7411, 1975) Recorded in New York City, October 21 & 31, 1974.

This one needs little introduction. Sweet soul jazz on Strata East, featuring Stanley Cowell, Bill Lee (Spike Lee’s dad!), Billy Higgins, Clifford Jordan, Laverne Gilliam, Shirley Childs, Becky Childs, Theresa Roche, Joy Lee & Natalie Roche.

Should appeal to fans of Strata-East & Black Jazz labels, Shamek Farrah, Pharoah Sanders, Stanley Cowell, Clifford Jordan, Mary Lou Williams, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sarah Webster Fabio, Lorez Alexandria, the Café Apres-midi & Free Soul comps, etc.

Condition: Gatefold Cover = EX (was sealed when I got it, no visual signs of wear at all)/ Records = EX (unplayed prior to my finding it, no spindle marks, “Promotional Copy – Not For Sale” stamped on LP label)

Postage for 1-2 LPs within USA: Media Mail = $3.00 or Priority Postage = $6.50, each additional LP add $1.00 (per LP).

Insurance is optional, but any uninsured package is the Buyer’s responsibility (At Your Own Risk) and I cannot refund lost or damaged packages. Insurance rates are as Follows: 0-$50.00 = $1.30; $50.01 - $100.00 = $2.20; $100.01 - $200.00 = $3.20; $200.01 and Higher = $4.20.
