Description
Up for auction is a copy of A Factory Sample, issued in 1979 on Factory Records cat no FAC 2, the label’s first vinyl release. A double EP including titles by Joy Division, The Durutti Column, John Dowie and Cabaret Voltaire, it’s a long-time post-punk collectible.
Condition: both records look glorious, but the Joy Division side contains a couple of jumps (one on each track), which may be removed with a decent clean or tracking adjustment. No promises though. The sleeve has the usual minor handling creases not no serious issues. No stickers, I’m afraid. Difficult to grade the vinyl for reasons outlined above, but sleeve is VG, close to VG+.
