Item: "A Date with Elvis" 1960 Pressing LP  Catalog Number: LPM-2011  Year of Issue: 1960
'Item Description'
Overall:  This is a very important LP, this is from the very first run of this LP when RCA neglected to put the song titles anywhere on the cover.  Soon after the very first run this was discovered and a red sticker was created with the titles and applied to the cover.  That has left these true first issue quite a collectable.  There is absolutely no sign of any presence of the sticker, you will always see a outline of the sticker, or more vibrant color where the sticker was removed or bubbling of the cover when it was removed, this one has none of that, this is the real deal 1st pressing.
Cover: Cover overall is in very good condition, front has just the lightest bit of wear in a few spots, just very very light.  The back of the cover is in equally as nice of shape, maybe even a hint better than the front, just a bit of white cover at bottom left and a pen mark around March 12th.  Inside the gatefold is also in fine condition, even after a close inspection very difficult to spot any wear.  
Edges and Spine: Edges and spine have some light wear in places, but overall it is very light and not hardly noticeable.  Just very nice.  
Vinyl Record: As you would guess, the vinyl has matrix numbers of 1S/1S out of Indy, this is the real deal.  The vinyl has great gloss and sheen, does have a few minor light paper scuffs and one spot on Side 1 that looks like to be a small factory blem, sort of a tiny crater, clearly not damage by an errant needle or other user cause.
Other: This pressing also has the rare Elvis inner sleeve present, this is one of the toughest Elvis inner sleeves.
