Description

Album Cover Excellent L6 written on front quite light. L6 Mono written on back cover Record Excellent+++ to Near Mint L 6 rolodex sticker on Side one. Record Company put same label on both sides by mistake side 2 label. The L6 Rolodex sticker is really side one with the following Songs: Mood To Be Wooded, Jack The Bear, Way Low, Blues on the Double, Summertime. This makes this Album quite interesting as label mistakes are quite rare. This album was done on radio from Battle Creek Michigan 6/2/45 Live radio broadcasts 1945 -1946  At Paradise Theatre Detroit 5/19/45 400 Restaurant NYC 5/19/45. These recordings came from the Mel Torme collection of Saturday afternoon Radio Broadcasts  Probably the most satisfying Ellington recordings you will ever encounter. If you like and collect Ellington this is part of a do NOT miss set.
