Here’s an original blue label copy of “A Christmas Gift For You from Philles Records”, aka Phil Spector’s Christmas album. It’s on the Philles label, number PHLP 4005, mono pressing. Most copies you’ll see on ebay are on the later yellow/red label… this is an original! Released the week President Kennedy was killed, the album sold very poorly due to the mood of the nation. But over time, this album has achieved classic status as a masterpiece of production. Features The Ronettes, The Crystals, Darlene Love, and Bob. B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans. The vinyl grades a strong VG, I played it all the way through and it plays well. One red mark on the side two label. The cover is VG as well, no seam splits, one area of paper loss on the back slick that doesn’t affect the print or graphics. The front cover displays very nicely!
