Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

Stephen Sondheim, Broadway's most revered and influential composer/lyricist passed away on November 26, 2021.

• This is a First Pressing of a 4-LP, 20-Page Book Box Set that is an RCA Red Seal Promotional Copy of the original 1985 release. (Contains tracks that were not available on the CD Box Set.)
• The records have never been played.
• The Promo sticker is top right on the back of the box.
• The copy on the front and back of the box is raised silver foil.
• The 12x12 hard board, clam shell lid box has tight seams and shows minor shelf wear on the corners. There is a small spot on the back of the box.
• The 12x12 book forward is by Thomas Z. Shepard.
• The inner sleeves are poly-lined.
• This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from RCA in 1985. It has been in storage for 36 years.
