This record is in excellent+ condition. It has just a few spindle marks visible on the labels and no pen marks, scuffs or staining. There is next to no wear around the centre holes and overall the ridged yellow and red labels are clean, bright and in great shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean with nothing at all serious showing. There is no real lines or 'marks' evident and it has a lovely lustre. There is some very faint manufacturing whiskers in places however and also a few minor 'blotchy' or 'mottled' areas. These are all very minor however and overall it is in great shape and shows minimal signs of use to its playing surfaces.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is a very slight amount of upward movement in the record arm on each side. This is not at all severe however and of course has no affect on the sound produced. This is excellent throughout with little to no interference of any sort and of course no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test with clear audio of nice quality from start to finish.
The sleeve is in excellent condition and is still in its original shrink wrap. This has gone a good job of protecting the sleeve over the years but despite this there is a few issues to mention. Firstly the front top left and bottom right corners have wear/damage. The top left corner is exposed from the shrink and has light wear, while the bottom right is also exposed but has heavier wear and 'nibbling'. Please view the pictures provided to get a better understanding of these issues. Other than these two corners the sleeve has no major wear and the shrink has done its job well. There is maybe faint ring marks evident under the shrink but no major grubbiness, creasing or other issues. Overall a nice sleeve for well over 50 years old. It is strong and clean but has the wear to the two corners as mentioned. I have tried my best to explain the sleeves condition but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original plain white inner but this is in poor condition with splits, damage and creasing. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
