Description

Very approximately 500  78rpm records           all either just over 100 years old or 90+ years old,

nearly all in playable condition, with lots of Winner, Zonophone, Regal and similar,

but also an example of Scala, John Bull, Ariel, Coliseum, Guardsman and other vintage labels and quite a lot of Phoenix, some HMV etc.

All 10 inch, including some single sided.

Note- the  photo of "John Bum" record  is my idea of humour, and is not included in this lot, but there are a few real 'John Bull' records in this batch.

Artists vary from bands to Billy Williams.  Some World War One numbers.  Nothing fearfully rare, but with each of these discs shortly expecting a telegram from the queen, they must be a bargain as at the age of 100 they will have achieved ANTIQUE status. The few that have already attained this status, are, I am sorry to report, a trifle disappointed that the Queen has not yet recognised them personally.

Note- I have not counted them, time is too short, but I reckon there are around five hundred 78s. Combined Total age must be getting on for 50,000 YEARS! There can't be many chances these days  to buy such an ancient collection!

Buyer has to collect or arrange a courier. I am nearish Norwich.
