Description
Victor Master Test Pressing - 78rpm Paramount Pictures Studio Production Record for soundtrack film music Single-Sided 10-inch Test was master pressed in 1997 - pressed in white vinyl - polystyrene material (reverse is blank) PBS 79170 -1 features Bing Crosby and Kitty Carlisle singing "Love In Bloom" for the production "She Loves Me Not" Victor mx. 79170 -1 was recorded ca. Mid-April 1934, and was recorded to 78rpm recording for Paramount on April 18, 1934 NOTE: This is an alternate/different "take" than that used in the film. It is VERY similar, but Bing sings one note differently on this. (at the beginning, one can faintly hear some numbers mentioned and "Action !" before the two stars begin performing.) Writing on label stating Paramount Promo is wrong.... The recording was a Production Disc, made for internal studio use during the production process of making the film. This is an alternate soundtrack "take" - while very similar, it is different (Bing sings at least one word differently than in film version) At very beginning, you can faintly hear a director say a number and "Action", after which Kitty Carlisle starts brief dialogue before song (song ends without final word... just as it does in the film)
