Here we have a handful of 78s from the 1950s. Each disc is in quite nice condition and there are EIGHT in this set. There is a good blend of different musical styles here from girl vocals to some rock & roll. And they are; 1)Paul Anka-Tell Me That You Love Me/I Love You Baby 2)The Mudlarks-Book Of Love/yea Yea 3)Kalin Twins-When/Three O`Clock thrill 4)Tommy Edwards-It`s All In The Game/Please Love Me Forever 5)Pat Boone-Chains Of Love/Friendly Persuation 6)Caterina Valente-The Breeze & I/Jealousy 7)Catreina Valente-Fiesta Cubana/Temptation 8)Frankie Laine-Your Heart My Heart/Rain Rain Rain And there you have another fine set of 78s. Pop into U-Tube if you don`t know these. Canadian writer and singer Paul Anka gives us two of his own compositions here,and I Love You Baby was later a modest hit for Manchester band,Freddy & The Dreamers. Pat Boone is back again and while Friendly Persuation is a light ballad,the flipside Chains Of Love is a cool chop guitar blues. The Mudlarks Columbia offering has a very good version of Book Of Love,while Tommy Edwards gives us two rock-a-ballads on MGM. The great Kalin Twins do their hit record,When and flip it over for an incredible bit of rock & roll. Frankie Laine is always good and he proves it here on this Philips disc and then,I say then,we have the lovely Caterina Valente. I have included two of Caterina`s discs in this set and these two alone can demand £25.00 each.
