Our GRADING for pskorst (our sister 78 record ebay name) and us ( bigbillkorst ) is E+ (or NM) rarely use this grade on 78s, E, E-, V+, V, V- and Poor. Packing We ship these antique, fragile shellac records in cardboard squares surrounded by padding, floating inside a 12" x 12" x 6" box. We have had less then 5 problems with damage on 5800 records shipped so far. Peter
78RPM Decca 25431 (hair crack--see many photos) Ink Spots, I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire / Soneone's Rocking My Dream Boat high grade E with a fine hair crack This rare version great circa 1949 record is in an above average, sharp E condition with a hair crack , this is an E to E- to E without mentioning the hair crack--this has few light flaws on a light wear--everything is surfacy on this, knowing the owner, this was acquired newish or new back in 1949-50, played rarely and kept on a shelf upright till today, well taken care of, see my 10 photos above to judge the shellac for yourself. The hair crack- is on World just a touch left of straight up 12 noon or midnight, even harder to see is the Boat side which is 1130 in photo--this fine hard to see hair crack goes 2-3 inches and is fine clean with no disruption on the surface--which means it appears it will not affect play either side. Graded visually. Spindle holes and labels have light or little wear. Will be in a heavy paper sleeve. See my 10 photos. Please email with any questions.
