The World of 1950s Black Detroit Gospel Church-- the famous preacher CL Franklin and his teenager daughter ARETHA in two of her earliest recordings. She is on CHECKER, her dad on CHESS
The Aretha 78 is in V+ condition with wear remains intact with it’s critical core material that is the basis of a book already begun and a fully developed future touring Exhibition.
All discs offered are visually graded—fairly graded. All discs offered were purchased between 1999-2013 and are now increasingly hard to find. A number of you might remember me from a decade or so ago when I was the well known historical 78 and ephemera ebay seller who also exhibited in Antiquarian Book and Modernism Collectibles Shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco 1994-2008 Same quality and brand AND YES….
