Description

This is an original American 78 RPM Single Record by PRISONAIRES from 1953.  The title is "Just Walkin' In The Rain".  Flip-side is "Baby Please".  Label / Number is Sun 186. The Vocal Group formed when all the members were incarcerated in The Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville. Sam Phillips heard them and managed to get them transported under armed guard to Memphis to record.  "Rain"(co-written by Johnny Bragg of the Group) was a pretty big hit for the inmates and was later recorded by Johnnie Ray, who had an even bigger hit with it. This is the first of four singles that the Prisonaires released on the Sun label.  Record has wear, scuffs, small scratches and some surface noise, but actually plays well with good fidelity.  Labels have wear, scuffs and staining.  Condition is:  Record - V- (but plays more like V to V+)  Labels - V   Not an easy record to find these days.
