If you look on ebay every seller has their own grading system with their own perception which is basically meaningless.
I have listened to every 78 that I sell.
I use 78s in my business and play them live.
The reason I am selling 78s is that either I have multiple copies or they do not fit with the people I play them to.
If any 78 I listen to is in terrible condition it goes in the bin.
However you must understand 78s have been played on Gramophones so will have an element of surface noise however the level will not be excessive.
The 78s will be packed in a cardboard bow with protection on all sides.
If the Post Office succeed in breaking the 78 I require a photo showing the damaged packaging and damage to the 78.
I photograph all 78s and packaging prior to postage to protect us both.
