78 RPM - 2 Louis Armstrong early vintage OKEH records - hot - rare

OKEH 8609 - Louis Armstrong and His Hot Five - Sugar Foot Strut / A Monday Date - Monday side rates E++, super clean and shiny, plays great - Sugar side has issues, rates G-, substantial crazing in last half of side, plays strong throughout, no skips.  Background noise begins in last quarter and gets louder but not scratchy like you would expect, rather it sounds like low moaning wind outside.  It never becomes overpowering, the song plays strongly thru it.

OKEH 41350 - Louis Armstrong & His Orchestra - After You've Gone / St. Louis Blues - G+, has some digs and scratches but plays thru with no skips, played well on my Dual 1218 turntable with light background noise.

Both records play better than they look.

My grading scale is not complicated.  Mint (M, M-) means like new with only the slightest of scuffing.  Excellent (E, E+, E-) means minor scuffs, scrapes, label wear, light scratches that do not affect the play.  Good (G, G+, G-) means scuffing, scraping, scratches, acceptable playing with noticible noise.  I try not to sell records that are warped or that skip unless noted.  These are records I have picked up while expanding my own record collection.  

I pack very carefully with cardboard reinforcement, bubble wrap and sturdy boxes.  I combine shipping on multiple purchases where possible.  Please use shipping calculator to determine shipping charges to your location.
