DESCRIPTION:
Here are two different, lesser known period recordings of the popular 1933 song classic "It's Only A Paper Moon" featured prominently in the 1973 film Paper Moon with Ryan and Tatum O'Neal. The George Olsen version is slow and sweet with a male vocal while the peppier treatment by Herb Gordon on a rare Domino has a vocal by Rose Blane. Both 78s were recorded in the fall of 1933 and the songs are from the 1933 Paramount feature Take A Chance.
