Description

78 RPM - Georgia Pine Boy aka Joe McCoy - Memphis Minnie aka Lizzie Douglas Joe McCoy was married to Lizzie Douglas so I have included a record by Memphis Minnie; after all - 'til death do they part ;-)

please look at the pictures

DECCA 7828 from 1935 - The World Is a Hard Place to Live In / Look Who's Coming Down The Road - Georgia Pine Boy

Rates E, fairly shiny with scuffing and a press marks on one side, some of the shine is gone on the other side, some kind of discoloration.  The record played loud and clear on my Dual 1218 turntable, no skips, very light audible hiss.

OKEH 6707 from 1941 - Looking the World Over by Memphis Minnie b/w Black Rat Swing by Little Son Joe

Rates G, fairly shiny with scuffing and several cracks and scratches.  The record played loud and clear on my Dual 1218 turntable, no skips, very light audible hiss.

My grading scale is not complicated.  Mint (M, M-) means like new with only the slightest of scuffing.  Excellent (E, E+, E-) means minor scuffs, scrapes, label wear, light scratches that do not affect the play.  Good (G, G+, G-) means scuffing, scraping, scratches, acceptable playing with noticible noise.  I try not to sell records that are warped or that skip unless noted.  These are records I have picked up while expanding my own record collection.

I pack very carefully with cardboard reinforcement, bubble wrap and sturdy boxes.  I combine shipping on multiple purchases where possible.  Please use shipping calculator to determine shipping charges to your location.
