DESCRIPTION:
Rare opportunity to hear Fats Waller integrate a pipe organ into a jazz performance on "Red Hot Dan" with scatting by Fats, a fine guitar break by Bobbie Leecan plus cornet by Tom Morris and trombone by Jimmy Archey. This December 1927 session is a refreshing experiment that worked. Other side is a Fats Waller pipe organ solo from the same session.
