78 RPM SUN Record 223 Elvis Presley Mystery Train

Zum Verkauf steht ein schönes Stück Rock´n Roll-Geschichte: Ein Exemplar der Schellackplatte SUN Records Nr. 223 von Elvis Presley. A-Seite: „Mystery Train“, B-Seite „I Forgot To Remember To Forget“, Erscheinungsjahr 1955. In der Auslaufrille sind (A-Seite) “U-156 20” und (B-Seite) “U-157 20” eingeritzt, sonst nichts. Zustand ist sehr schön – leider ist es fast unmöglich, das bei Schellackplatten zu fotografieren. Rillen sind leicht grau, Oberflächenwischer und –kratzer zu sehen. Die Platte spielt sehr schön – fast kein Rauschen, keine Kratzer und kein Springen (abgespielt auf einem Philips GF 110 von 1970 mit Schellacknadel). Platte ist ungebrochen und hat keine Randschäden.

Die Platte kommt zum Versand zwischen zwei Pappen in Luftpolsterfolie, dann zwischen zwei Spanplatten und in einen Karton, der mit Füllmaterial gepolstert wird, so dass eigentlich nichts passieren dürfte.

I am selling a nice piece of Rock´n Roll-History. A copy of shellac record (78 rpm) SUN Records 223 of Elvis Presley, A: “Mystery Train”, B: “I Forgot To Remember To Forget”, released in 1955. Etched in the dead wax is “U-156 20” (Side A) and “U-157 20” (Side B), nothing else. Both sides in a nice condition, grooves with a little bit of grey, exhibit a decent gloss with lightly scattered rubs and marks throughout, nothing minor that affects play. Plays very nice – nearly no background noise, no hearable scratches and naturally no skipping (played on a Philips GF-110 from 1970 with 78rpm-needle). No edge-chips and no break. The record will be packed between two cardboards, then in bubble wrap and then between two pieces of chipboard. This package will be packed in a carton with filling material - so that actually nothing should happen to the record.
