Scarce Fats Waller 78. Blues singer Caroline Johnson appeared on two 78s in 1926, then disappeared. No band, just Fats backing her up on this rare Gennett. A few stripped grooves break up and one groove skips on "Mama's Losing...." side. Other than that, music clear with quiet surface. Some needle runs on labels. Fats takes full chorus solos both sides.
