Although only billed as accompanied by Eddie Heywood's Sons of Harmony, Louis Armstrong and Henry Allen snuck onto this February 1930 session. That day, Louis was in the Okeh studio recording "Bessie Couldn't Help It" and using most of the Henry Allen band for that session. Instrumental chorus on "Better Stop Knockin' Me Aroun'". Rare Okeh from near the end of Butterbeans and Susie's recording days. A-1 pressings both sides. Plays loud and bright with quiet surface.

Although these sides are listed as having Louis or Red on them, it doesn't quite sound like either of them. The prior matrix that day "What It Takes To Bring You Back" is definitely Red Allen and possibly Louis taking over midway.
