MISSISSIPPI SHEIKS

OKEH 8784

G-

TITLES:

  • Sitting On Top Of The World
  • Lonely One In This Town

Legendary Country Blues group - Mississippi Sheiks on a well worn Okeh 78 RPM recording.

Record has seen many plays - the good ones always do.  Has some groove stripping at start of both sides from years of play on an accoustic machine. Has minor label damage on both sides ( SEE SCANS).  Noisy starts quiets down for last half of each side.  Plays with no problems, sound to noises is about 65 -35 at start then 75-25 towards end. Still some good plays left.   A good filler - don't mortgage the house for this one.  Looks G-, Plays G.
