Description
Al Jolson (May 26, 1886 – October 23, 1950) was an American singer, comedian and actor. In his heyday, he was dubbed "The World's Greatest Entertainer".
Purchased at an estate auction.
Record #23470 is a Personality Series release from the 1940's. In good condition. No cracks or skips. Minor scuffs and scratches and some background hiss are to be expected. Paper sleeve is in good condition with no tears.
This is record #1 from an 4-record set of music from the 1946 Columbia Picture, "The Jolson Story" with orchestra directed by Carmen Dragon. They are being offered separately for those wishing to acquire a single record. Multiple purchases will realize some savings on combined shipping.
