Description
Hard to come by record by Cannon's Jug Stompers. This will definitely do till a better one comes along. Much graying from heavy play. Has a tight V-shaped hairline about 1" long. Has a few short but deep scratches that all play thru but one on B side. Minor edge flake on B side. Obvious label damage. After saying all this it still sounds pretty good - all things considered. A side music and vocals still well above the staticky noise and still sounds pretty darn good considering appearance. B side noise not quite so pronounced as A side with vocals and music sounding like it had less volume - but vocals are clear, harmonica distinct and jug deep. Has one minor skip on B side. A side song sounds like it was recorded a bit louder. If this record were a horse I would say it had been "rode hard and put away wet" many times, but the old girl still has game! Insurance will be added to this one. DO NOT PAY UNTIL I SEND INVOICE. READ BELOW:
I grade as follows:
NM = Just this side of mint.
E = Excellent. Virtually no trace of groove wear with only
minimal traces of use and handling.
E- = A shiny great looking record with a slight degree of groove wear,
but not enough to seriously detract from its audio quality.
VG+ = Obvious play wear, but still very enjoyable. Has some shine with minor surface scuffs and scratches. Noticeable
graying in the grooves. Light surface noise or crackle.
VG = Well worn, but listenable. Expect the surface
noise to be significant. There may be some stressed grooves.
V- = Been played hard. Played with the right equipment, however, you may still
derive a certain degree of pleasure from a record in this condition.
Poor = self explanatory.
I have sold and shipped successfully many records thru the years with great feedback. I am not a dealer - just a collector who is now having to sell most of his stuff because of financial need.
