PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! RARE...original...1974 very first album by this tight hard prog psych crew with a sound somewhere in the mix of Il Balletto Di Bronzo meeting 1972 era Deep Purple and living up to their English translated name of "30 Years War"...The overall feeling is very melancholic and violent, having outstanding playing and short shades of beautifulness in it. Their instrumental sequences follow the logic of a dream, molding the record as a surrealistic nightmare.

Less than a handfull of copies around (over on Discogs) in this minty shape, going for $200 to $500 ...
"30 YEARS WAR" Starting on the very abrupt, raw, blunt, uncompromising Caledonian Origins with a lengthy crazy intro where the groups seems to constantly change riffs before the song proper starts, Zima's vocals sounding like early Deep Purple Ian Gillan in his screams and scats and XXX in his normal singing. The following Roster... is a bit calmer and evolves slowly into a demented, intense ending where the Mellotron (played by their drummer) underlines the crazy playing. The album's first side closes on the Butterfly Attitudes, which is their best-constructed song so far, where the King Crimson influences become clear (ever-present mellotrons helping of course) with terrific complex bass playing that drives the group.
Mina Lojen (My Smile) opens the second half of the album, showing the bands awesome potential, ending in great mellotron wash. Ur Djupen is very much like a 1972 era lost Deep Purple track (Zima's voice is certainly helping here with his scats), even if mellotrons lines were not Purple's attributes, Fredin's playing does remindes of Roger Glover's, using the same Fender Precision bass. The finale, Handligens Skugga (based on ancient-Greek philosophical text) starts slowly and dreamy to end fast and violent... again ...
The songs all feature various tempos and moods throughout, and plenty of odd times and jagged riffs. The keyboard sounds on a few songs are supplied by the incredible Mellotron. With a loud powerful mix, actually, everything is loud in the mix, but it just adds to the 'arctic' vibe this music gives off. Crank it up !!!!!!
