We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - PLANET OF MAN by project CODE III were a designed "Head Trip" feature recording set to enhance the listeners audio fun-zone.
- This album was recorded and released years or even a decade ahead of its time. A kind of environmental/tribal/ethno-ambient 1974 recording, when this genre didn't even exist. A concept story of the Planet Earth (from Creation and Eden to the future) illustrated with soundscapes, stereo sound effects, narration and hippie style (very natural) singing by Ed and Mary Key, quiet atmospheric keyboards in the background, guitar, ethnic drums, Indian style singing, singing of the birds, contrast between utopia and dark soundscapes etc. Quite listenable and interesting album especially if you like folk-psych & trippy underground music. It's like you are listening to film from the 70s without a ticket to view it.
The main creative force behind Planet of Man were sound engineer Manfred Schunke and maestro Klaus Schulze. He is credited as drummer on part III, but it seems that his un-credited involvement were a bit more deeper though lasted only one recording session according to his memories. For Klaus it was side project while he was working on his great LP "Blackdance" in the same studio and PLANET OF MAN is not a Klaus Schulze album. So be prepared for surprises, cause some moments on these record are unpredictable.
Some moments will remind you of the track Jenseits by Ash Ra Tempel or records by Popol Vuh from early 70s but in general it's hard to find any analogue among albums from 1974.
And yes, when somebody will tell you that Peter Gabriel opened ethnic music, Brian Eno invented ambient music and Jon Hassel - the music of the Fourth World - recommend him to listen to Planet of the Man which came first....- Formations / The Genesis (17:48)
