What you are bidding on is a beautiful copy o.f JAMES KERR AND RON DILULIO: THE DEATH OF THE WORLD OF NOW This is a classic ROCK record, on CREATION FACTORY RECORDS, USA pressing. If you need a great copy of this, this is it.
Ultra-rare and mega-weird limited edition private pressing of psych/electronic/Xian/spoken word madness composed and performed by Dilulio (pictured on the back cover in front of a wall of synth gear) and written and narrated by Kerr, with awesome satanic skull cover art. we have insane apocalyptic narration over beds of crazy musique concrete sound effects and lush synthesizer drones, and instrumental guitar psych/prog rock interludes. You'll hear electronic depictions of hell and its usual goings-on (wild orgies, Satan laughing, tortuous insects, etc.) and then the additional sinfulness of "the world of afterward", an "afterbirth of hell" w humanity runs rampant raping and pillaging each other, and, finally, a rebirth of a pure and good world overseen by god... really strange stuff! Limited to 500 copies. As the narration of a journey from life to death this lp definitely evokes comparisons to Pierre Henry's Le Voyage, while the use of processed vocals combined with early synths suggests Ruth White, and the psych-rock influence ties it all to the lineage of Mort Garson's occult-exploito Moog albums or Bruce Haack in Electric Lucifer mode.
This lp is signed by both artists and numbered #97 of 500.
Ron Dilulio was the keyboard player for the popular 1960's Dallas band, The Chessmen, which included Jimmy Vaughn, Bill Etheridge and Doyle Bramhall. - from Keymap Records, eBay UserID: keymap
