Record Condition: VG, has light scuffing and small pits from probable heat exposure but plays strong on both sides, not warped

Note: Great tune in Read The Fine Print - nice new discovery for fans of sophisticated 70s soul. I contacted all the band members and manager and unfortunately there are no extra copies to be had, so this may be your only chance to get this record. The group is virtually unknown outside of Sacramento but has a long and complex history. The group started off as an all-Asian Amercian band in the early 70s but by the time of this release (their only one) in 1976 all the original members had departed and had been replaced by a mix of Asian American, African American and white members. The singer on this recording, Vince Ebo, had a viable solo career in the 80s and 90s before committing suicide in 1994. The trumpet player, Skip Martin, went on to big success in the 80s as a member of Kool And The Gang and The Dazz Band. There is actually still an incarnation of the East Wind Band playing shows in the Sacramento area but none of the players from this record are in the group still. Grading: I grade conservatively on a scale of NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
