7" single Rolling Stones "TELL ME" South Africa-NO RES!
Very Rare TOP COND. 45-- with MISPRINT Picture Sleeve
DESCRIPTIONDon't miss out on this opportunity to take advantage of this great deal.
Offered here is an ULTRA RARE copy of the 7" ROLLING STONES South African pressing of TELL ME (YOU'RE COMING BACK), and I JUST WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO YOU.
This has a Blue DECCA Label (with 'RIDGED' UNBOXED DECCA LABEL), with No. FM. 7-7094, issued in +/- 1965.
Matrix numbers are DR32989 and DR 32991. Quite uniquely, these are printed upside down on the label on either side below "THE ROLLING STONES".
Credits are 'Southern Music (PTY) Ltd' for "TELL ME", and 'Arc Music Corp.' for "I JUST WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO YOU".
Here's the cherry on the top; the title of Side 2 is printed on the picture sleeve with "WANNA" instead of "WANT TO", as printed on the label on the record.
The picture sleeve is the hard to find fold-over gatefold variety (See photo) with an identical photo on either side above the individual song titles. I've shown the full sleeve folded open in the picture.
CONDITION
I would rate the single as EXCELLENT, with only light spindle wear on Side 1. The vinyl is unmarked and looks like it has hardly ever been played.
The picture sleeve is VERY GOOD , with only some slight moisture marks evident, and slight ring wear(See photo). These singles were issued with the fold-over paper sleeve in a cellophane sleeve, in which this record has spent its lifetime.
There are no tape marks, holes or any writing.
This item is part of the dispersal of my collection, which I am now forced to let go, many items of which are considered Very Rare.
It has been listed with NO RESERVE, so I will leave it up to the true experts and collectors to decide the real value.
