CONDITION
VINYL :- magnificent /shiny throughout / no marks of any note…nice and clean / no pops or skips / plays through superbly with a crisp and clear sound / a few very light spindle marks and I daresay this has only been played a handful of times only / you would have to a very hard task master to rate this any less than Near Mint.LABELS :- Clean
SLEEVE :-
SLEEVE :- terrific / no writing / no edge-wear / light age and ring wear but very minor really / the spine is intact / a little creasing at top left and bottom right corners / the back cover has some sporadic soil or age marks as per photo however only minor / the corners are square and overall it presents superbly
DESCRIPTION
A fantastic original UK 1st pressing of this 1st ever Beatles EP (with fold-back rear cover flaps) in original ‘mono’ sound.I have referenced this particular copy to the official UK Beatles web-sites and determined that this is indeed a 1st UK pressing …though perhaps a 2nd issue as the matrix here is suffixed with “1N” and "2N" …what leads me to believe this is a 1st pressing are the letters “BuPr” on the back cover (in place of “Garrod”) which refers to the Buckland Press publishing house. Also there is only one Tax Code visible …..that being the single letter “K” on Side 2 (some of the label anomalies and cover changes on these early pressings were very minor and supportive information is not always readily available though I am sure someone out there more knowledgeable will correct me if I am wrong).
A great pick-up for Beatles fans.
