At the time of this record was pressed in May 1968, MANX Radio in The Isle Of Man was the only British Commercial Radio Station in the UK and one of the few places these obscure import Psych/Garage records could be first heard there (plus of course on John Peel's TOP GEAR! )
The single is so rare it doesn't appear on many Beefheart Discographies and I have only seen one other ('very poor') copy turn up in Auction on Ebay in 10 Years! (Hence Reserve!) One of just a handful of copies pressed, this is one not one to let go, as the chance of finding another is faint to say the least -

I am listing one of the most elusive PSYCH/GARAGE records from the '60s - A rare ADVANCE 'Radio Station' [YELLOW Label] Promo of CAPTAIN BEEFHEART & HIS MAGIC BAND's singe "MOONCHILD" These were mainly pressed in the 60s for Pirate Radio Stations which were shut down by the Marine Maritimes Act in '67.
