Description:

Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one featuring The Fallen Angels.
A few unique things about this item:
Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with only some apparent very light sleeve marks, grading by sight in normal room light.  I played the entire disc and found the 12 tracks to audibly average nearly half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint.  In other words, it played extremely well!  You can assign your own grade based on my detailed track-by-track comments and the grading scale shown below.
Secondly, at the time of this listing, no copies found for sale on e-bay for this 1st press DJ copy! Please note the "DJ not for sale" notation is shown on the inside of the cover (see scan).  I don't see that notation anywhere on the labels (see label scan).
So this is your chance to own a unique item at a reasonable price. Bid early and often so you don't miss out on this auction!  It is further described below, please take the time to read before bidding.
Please e-mail if questions.

Be sure to check my other listings to save postage on multiple winning bids. Please check out my store (click on e-bay name above first, then click on the profile link, then click on the about link) to see some of the 15,000+ records I have for sale as well as the LP to CD transfer service I offer.
I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s).
Here is a summary of the record(s):
Artist: The Fallen Angels
Title:  It's a long way down Record:  Black vinyl with the original shine and some very light apparent sleeve marks, grading by sight in normal room light. Labels:  Multi-color (orange/tan--see scan) with black print.  A few spindle marks.  No pen/pencil marks, no stickers.   Trailing wax:  Side 1:  RSD 525 A Bell Sound Side 2: RSD 525 B Bell Sound  Inner sleeve(s):  A generic, white sleeve in fine shape, a few corner folds/crinkles.
Cover:  This is a gatefold cover (it opens up).  Corners are moderately/heavily worn with some creased tips.  Seam wear varies from slight with more heavier seam wear more so on the spine.   No stickers.  No pen/pencil marks.  Top spine seam is split 1".  Some slight/moderate general/ring wear.  Some short crinkles off the edges.  The front inside which also shows lyrics has a "D.J. not for sale" stamped on it.  The back inside has become unglued.  I'm not going to re-glue that, but will leave that up to the new owner as they may not want it glued. Rate the cover VG. You can assign your own grade based on my comments.
Comments:  I found the 12 tracks to audibly average nearly half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint. You can assign your own grade based on my detailed track-by-track comments   A great addition to your LP collection.

Side 1: -- Comments
Poor old man - (Two light pops + some very light scattered surface noise (3.2)) A horn playing on my thin wall - (Some very, very light scattered surface noise (3.8)) Something new you can hide in - (Some very, very light scattered surface noise and 3 very light pops (3.4)) Tell you a story - (Some very, very light scattered surface noise and two light pops (3.2)) Silent garden - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.8)) Look to the sun - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise and one very light pops (3.5))
Side 2: -- Comments One of the few ones left - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise and 3 very light pops (3.4)) I really love my mother - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.9)) Look at the wind - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.8)) Didn't I - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.8)) It's a long way down - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise (3.9)) I'll drive you from my mind - (Some scattered very, very light surface noise and a few very, very light pops (3.6))

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people: NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective) VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise
I normally ship single LP records in a 13x13x2 box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 1 oz. Shipping is 1-2 pounds Media Rate, $5.38 + $1.57 box = $6.95.  Priority, $6.54 + $1.57 box = $8.31.
Alternatively, I can ship in a 14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 1 pound 8 oz. Shipping is $5.38 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $3.70 box/tape/packing = $9.08.  I have to buy those boxes individually.
I'm shipping to you at cost.  If you feel it is too much, please look elsewhere.  E-bay will charge me 10-15% of the shipping as well.
Due to the rare nature of this item and higher selling price, it will have to be shipped priority with insurance and signature confirmation.  I'll cover the insurance and signature.
This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box. If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
Buyer pays shipping/handling. Standard method within U.S. is Priority, $8.31. This includes online tracking. Outside U.S., e-mail location to determine S/H costs prior to auction end. Insurance / other methods of shipping cost extra. Payment received within ten days of auction ending.
