We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. LOOKS and PLAYS CLEAN!
As you may - or may not know, here's an exceedingly rare, little seen, Original 1967 first pressing by great, Les Differents. Their only LP stands up tall against any of the best of the Northern Garage '60s, be it The Sinners, Miserables, A Passing Fancy, etc. The LP is quite more than hard to come by than Lp's by above mentioned groups, its true value is $500 to $1000 reaches for a mint copy.

The Differents were from the province of Quebec Canada. Their only LP is probably one of the most wanted garage band LP's from north of the USA border. At the same time, it's one of the rarest - if not the rarest Canadian garage LP's. All tracks are original and deliver with the 'right' sound. A consistent mix of formidable folk/rock and fuzz garage freakbeat killers here.The rare LP release was on the obscure 'Disque Monde' label, issued only in mono. The sound of the record is quite reflective to its front cover: Montreal based French-Canadian garage/punk with a decidedly Rolling Stones influence, though this one is far better than most Lp's of the type. It features extensive use of fuzz guitar, as well as French lyrics that work. Overall somewhere in the vein of first LP era Les Sinners meets The Miserables ... enough of the good stuff to make this one a keeper! Their lyrics dealing about e.g. long haired boys, love affairs turning bad, .., all sound quite naïve.

Long hair, liners to weights, ties to flowers, funny trousers… The Differents had everything they needed to stand out from the wide range of groups in Quebec in the '60s -- one that far reaches the status of classic garage collectibles nearly 50 years later. They played their own unpolished compositions, all guitar and mastered the art of fuzz-box effect. Above all, The differents sought to provoke, by their clothing, by their attitude and with a music much harder than the majority of the groups in their kind. In an interview, Jacques Moreau, lead guitarist, recounted that The Differents came under the threat of the main population wanting to cut their hair - scissors in hand! Even so, their popularity with the "now sounds" hipster crowd spread like a trail of flash-powder. Beyond the simple groups of local dance, they were presented as the "Canadian Rolling Stones." The groups tour bus was painted with psychedelic colors and sported wo large hands attached to each side of the bus that flapped in the wind. With their extremely colorful look, more than MODS, almost Hippie, they attracted a wide audience of the young teen-scene revolting against the establishment, hungry for wild noise. Overall The Differents had an attitude that was very garage-punk, anti-conformist, shocking and full of outrage.

CONDITION: The cover: THICK colorful cardboard cover, normally easily wear-prone, here's a strong VG+(+) copy with only light discoloration at bottom right, otherwise we'd suggest "EX" (excellent) rating... This gem has still reflects a NO upgrade needed ...considerably better than other few surviving copies. With fresh original colors, no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... collection worthy rarity ...
